Manual Chiropractic Adjustments
Our primary treating method. This focuses on getting joints in your spine moving properly again. It helps restore movement and range of motion which can allow for better function of that specific joint.
-
Soft Tissue Therapy
Focusing primarily on muscles and tendons. Soft tissue therapy helps lengthen muscle fibres and reducing overall tension felt. We will use a combination of trigger point therapy and static compression to target painful points in your muscles.
-
Massage Gun Therapy
Our chiropractors may use a top quality massage gun as part of your treatment. This can enable us to loosen larger muscles groups as well as some joints. This is usually done before a manual adjustment.
-
Activator Method
The activator is a lower force technique that still enables us to get your joints moving. The pressure on the activator can be adjusted to suit the location of where it is being use. Normally the most gentle of all techniques, and for children and elderly or people who are hesitant when it comes to manual adjusting.
-
Drop Piece
Another method that is more gentle than a manual adjustment. Different sections of the chiropractic table can be raised while you are laying face up or down, and during the adjustment it is gently pushed back down to allow a controlled force through such joint.
-
Blocks
Blocks are 2 soft wedges that can be placed under your pelvis while you are laying down. These blocks enable us to be able to level out the pelvis and leg length.
